This workshop explains why a strong, and effective equal opportunities policy is essential for organisations to maintain a supportive, and safe, working environment. Key elements of current equality legislation are introduced and explained as well as the direction the legislation will take under the new Equality Bill. Direct and indirect discrimination is explored through group discussion, simple role-play, case study and an examination of case law. The training is highly interactive and participation and involvement from all those who attend is guaranteed.

Behaviour in the workplace is critical to creating a motivated and productive organisation. This course consists of a series of modules that look at different work situations where behaviour can be challenged. Modules can be selected as appropriate to your organisation. Teams explore the issues, lool at the underlying problems, learn about the legislation and devise practical solutiosn to each situation studied. The course can be supplemented by the use of professional actors to bring each situation to life through role-play.
